They are offering the reduced rate of $89 for king or double queen if you ask for the Robin Kessinger Festival block with a cut off of April 18 ….the direct phone is 1-800-216-0661. All rooms have a small refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, iron and board, coffeemaker, high speed internet, and a deluxe continental breakfast in the lobby from 6 – 10 AM. Festival Information

A nonprofit festival to be held at Coonskin Park Amphitheater, hosts the WV State Flatpick Guitar Championship and holds traditional music workshops.

Mission: To celebrate the traditions of passing on musical heritage in the mountain state and the legend of Robin Kessinger.

The Robin Kessinger Festival & Workshop to be held at the Coonskin Park Amphitheater in Charleston, WV hosts the West Virginia State Flatpick Guitar Championship. The festival’s namesake continues with our family’s tradition of bringing traditional folk music to the mountain state by way of the Clay Center and touring both nationally and abroad. Since its conception, the festival’s judges have each year selected winners that hold one if not multiple positions in the Top 5 winners at the Walnut Valley Festival’s National Flatpicking Championship held in Winfield, Kansas each September. We as a nonprofit festival take pride that we, through our community of friends and neighbors, are able to bring the very best acts in folk nd traditional music to West Virginia.

Thank you for your continued support.
